Tell us what you are trying to do

Questions, bug reports, pricing, or a feature that would make the product genuinely useful for you. All of it goes to the same place, and all of it gets read.

Send a message

The more concrete you are, the faster this goes. Fields marked with a label are all of them.

We reply to everything. Usually within a working day.

What to expect

Setting this out plainly so you are not left wondering whether anything happened.

A real person replies
Not a ticket number and an autoresponder. The team is small enough that the person who answers is usually the person who can fix it.
Usually within a working day
Sometimes the same hour, occasionally two days if it lands over a weekend. If it has been longer than that, send it again.
Bug reports get answered by whoever wrote the bug
Which is uncomfortable for us and fast for you.
We will tell you when the answer is no
Rather than putting your request on a roadmap that never moves.

Before you write in about a site that will not do what you want, it is worth a look at the features page — a fair few questions turn out to be a control that exists somewhere you have not looked yet.

Other ways in

Where different things go

They all reach us either way. Picking the right one just gets it in front of the right person a little sooner.

Tell us the URL, what you clicked, and what happened instead. A screenshot helps more than a description.

The four we get most

General product questions are answered on the home page. These are the ones that arrive by email.

I lost a site I was working on. Can you recover it?
Probably. Drafts made before you sign in are stored in your browser, so they are tied to that device and that browser profile. Once a project is saved to an account it has version history you can restore yourself. Tell us the project name and roughly when you last had it.
Can you build the site for me?
We do not take on site-building work — it would put us in competition with the people using the product. What we will do is answer specific questions about getting yours where you want it.
Do you offer a discount for non-profits or students?
Yes. Tell us a little about what you are building and we will sort it out. The free plan is genuinely usable in the meantime.
How do I delete my account and everything in it?
Ask here and we will do it, permanently, including published sites and any contact messages you have sent. See the privacy policy for what that covers.

Or just try it and write in afterwards

Most questions answer themselves about eight seconds after you describe your business.
